I just want the instructor’s screen-sharing to have the max possible (and stable) quality for everyone in the meeting. I wish someone can help me figure out where the issue is and how to fix. Low network download rate maybe 60MB (~480Mbps) I’m hosting on Debian server on AWS instance “c6a.4xlarge”Īlso, the speed test on the server gives like 6000 Mbps for download and maybe 3000 Mbps for upload.Īt the last meeting with 170-180 attendees (my config is sent below) the AWS monitoring showed the following: so ONLY one video stream is going on which is the instructor’s main screen cast. I tried to disable simulcast and change the video bitrate also changing the resolution to 720 or even 1080 or 1270, with setting ideal to 720 and min to 480 but still getting the same issue the screen is pixilated and the resolution itself drops to maybe 180p which makes it impossible to hold meetings based on screen sharing.ītw only one device shares the screen (the instructor) no body is using the mic, and nobody is using video cam or the instructor himself. I’m facing an issue with screen-sharing video quality -we use Jitsi mainly for screen sharing- we have like 200-300 users in the meeting and the issue occurs maybe from 150 users in the meeting. Thanks to everyone engaged in this great project you’re doing great guys! thanks really. ![]()
